Poster Series

A postmodernist/new wave punk inspired poster series. Anti Design was inspired by the boundaries we break within our design community. Whether it’s done visually or verbally designers are branching out into a new wave. Sometimes rules are meant to be broken. This series was inspired by the wonderful minds that spoke at ECU's Design Conference Legacy in the fall of 2024.

The Process

In this project, I explored the use of overlapping textures and images through Riso printing. I began by sketching poster concepts that intentionally broke away from a traditional grid structure. Afterward, I experimented with various textures and color combinations on the Riso machine. Once I had a solid foundation from my analog trials, I transitioned into the digital phase to further develop and refine the designs.
